First Year Tournament

Open to: Incoming freshman and first year students

The first year tournament is open to incoming freshman and 1st year students to UIUC. This is the first of many tournaments that are held with great turn outs every year. Prizes range from cue sticks to gift certificates.

First place winner is guaranteed a free 1 year club membership.

Team 9-ball

Open to: All registered students of UIUC

This is a great way to introduce yourself to this format of pool or develop your skills in a different manner. In this format you will play with a partner against other teams and every match you will be playing with a different partner.

Prizes:

Top Four: Free registration to ACUI

(based on overall point value)

Open to: All registered students of UIUC (women only)

This is a women only 9-ball ladder where you compete against each other in order to climb ranks. This is an individual format which is FREE for those who register. Prizes:

Top two (rank): Free registration into ACUI

Top two (participation): Cash Prize**

**cash prize based on number of participants (i.e. more people registered more money to give away)

Open to: Hand Selected

This is one of the largest tournaments that we participate in representing Uof I. In this tournament we send a team of four plus one alternate to Michigan to play against other schools in three formats:

Modified straight pool

Scotch 9-ball

Team 8-ball

ACUI: Billiards

Open to: All registered students of UIUC

This tournament is the one event that we as an organization build up to every year. Traveling to differnt locations each year we participate in individual 9-ball against other schools in Region 9 in hopes to qualify for nationals. This event ha a Men's bracket and a Women's Bracket.
